Anti-Ragging Policy
GIET Engineering College strictly prohibits ragging in any form within the campus and hostels. The institution is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students.
Ragging is a punishable offense and is banned as per the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Government. Any student found involved in ragging will be subject to strict disciplinary action.
Measures Implemented:
- Constitution of Anti-Ragging Committee and Squad
- Regular monitoring of campus and hostel premises
- Awareness programs for students on the consequences of ragging
- Display of anti-ragging guidelines at prominent locations
- Mandatory submission of Anti-Ragging Undertaking by students and parents
Disciplinary Action:
Students involved in ragging may face severe penalties including suspension, expulsion, filing of FIR, and other legal actions as per norms.
Support and Reporting:
Students are encouraged to report any incidents of ragging without fear. Complaints can be made to the Anti-Ragging Committee or through designated helpline numbers.

Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited. The institution follows a zero-tolerance policy to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
